About the Founder

Amber Dargenio, founder of Dargen Investigations, is a licensed Private Investigator in California (CA PI#190048). She takes pride in providing clients with personalized investigative services tailored to individual needs as well as her ability to identify potentially critical hidden ‘red flags.’

Amber graduated from Wellesley College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and was a cross-registered student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she was a research assistant for the MIT Security Studies program. Amber’s first position post-graduation was as a litigation paralegal for a Boston-based law firm, where she assisted with insurance defense, tort, worker’s compensation, personal injury, and employment law cases and trial-preparation.

After relocating to Los Angeles, CA, Amber pursued a career in private investigation. She has trained under top investigators and has a wide breadth of investigative experience - from managing complex surveillance operations to providing legal support for high level clients and assisting prominent private equity firms with acquisition investigations. Amber has worked on both nationwide and international investigations.
